What are the best Mods to Warband? Mainly the ones that varies relationships/dialogues
Hello Everyone!

What are the best mods to Warband? I Wouldn't mind graphic and combat focused mods too, but i am looking for mods that enhance/deepens relationships, vassalage, diplomacy, aligment, more dialogues, add new events, quests and a variety of verbal engagements etc. :)

Go to TW forum and browse through the list of all mods to find good stuff.

Perisno and Prophesy of Pendor are great ones if you're good at the game. Floris Modpack is also a great one if you wanna stay in the vanilla setting. AZW Reloaded is a good multiplayer one (hasn't been updated in years, but it's still semi-active). Blood and Steel is an obscure one, hasn't been updated in years, but I recommend it simply because of how over-the-top it is

Well ,i did that. And just bc i did that it doesn't mean i can't ask for more broad opinions here in Steam. "Browsing through the list of all mods" like browsing through the list of anything is not a efficient way to find good stuff, and you know that. I need opinions, not a "list".
Your comment doesn't add nothing and it doesn't help anybody. Judging by what i saw in other threads here, not your first time doing that, thats your typical behaviour towars others: arrogant and useless. Geez man...

Dude, take advantage of your braincells and use Google or whatever to find others' opinions on good Warband mods (there have been lots of recommendation threads all over the Internet). And that's a problem with you if you find my input useless as I've helped others out as well and never gotten a criticism back.

I literally said that i did that and doing that doesn't stop me from asking on Steam for more broad opinions. Can u even read? Yes, you were useless before, you were useless to me when you first commented and u still useless talking the same stuff that i already addressed.

You talking about braincell is so ironic.

Next time u see someone asking for something on the internet ,don't answer it. You will only give empty "go see a list" or a "Stop asking " response to a Opinion-Based question. You are clearly not prepared to basic social interactions.

Dude, your problem is that you reply with aggression to otherwise petty things which can easily be resolved with positivity and a bit of discussion. If you're incapable of maintaining a basic level of politeness, you better back away.

Searching Steam's Warband section by 'best mods' gives many good results because the same question's been posed hundreds of times.

I've downloaded all of them some I deleted becasue they are just ridiculous..

Pentor for instance is Ridiculously hard AI wise...

The 108 Mod is Fun but if you don't answer the questions correctly you're doomed because everyone will be against you unless you answer them in a particular way...

The Game of thrones mod is really good.. Kinda hard in that the factions don't work like you would think they would according to the TV or Book, IE The Iron Isles being allied with The Tyrells against the Vale and Lanister alliance in my game....

The Best Mod is the Warsword Mod IMO, modeled around the warhammer lore its really well done.. crashes are very rare for me, the AI is not too hard and not too easy either, and the magic is really well balanced...

The Heros of Might and Magic mod or COMM is really good as well and the multiple different dungeons you can play adds a nice twist to the warband game set up, I havent run into any issues the magic and the combat is balance very well no crashes.

Hope this helps.. enjoy! =)

In the name of Jerusalem has all the best features: siege engines, naval battles, formations, use another soldier after death, freelancer, spear overhead thrust, shield bash etc.
Not other mod has all these features "together".

Then if you want a storyline you could try Light & Darkness, Evlat, Azgad, Bones of Ragnvald and the "paid mods" With Fire & Sword, Viking Conquest, Blood & Gold: Caribbean, The Zombiest Adventures, Gloria Sinica: Han Xiognu Wars.
There may be others with a storyline but I don't remember.

Try "Phantasy Calradia" Neat little mod that is only a little buggy. Download it off ModDB.

There are so many great mods, it really depends on what you are looking for. I've probably played 50 of them (many playthroughs each) and most of them were lots of fun. Also-- with a little modding knowledge you can tweak them to your taste and have a near perfect game. I personally like historical mods best, especially that 16th century time when gunpowder / archery / melee / cavalry were somewhat balanced. To my surprise Prophesy of Pendor is my all time favorite. Brytenwalda was a favorite, but I feel Viking Conquest is really basically a polished successor. 1257 AD is fantastic, Honour & Glory / CHiS, Nova Aetas, In the Name of Jerusalem, and Gekokujo are all very good. The two "DLCs" Viking Conquest and With Fire and Sword are both excellent. 1860's Old West is quite unique and I had a lot of fun with it, similarly L'Aigle and Evlat. Again, modding any of these yourself can result in a much better game experience than any "vanilla" mod though. Say a mod is great, but cavalry is overpowered because they run right through your shield wall like it's not there. So change a few collision parameters so only one or two slip through your line and now it is a great, balanced game. Or you have a great mod, but archers only carry 10 arrows and are useless in sieges-- so change them all to 40 and good to go.
