Companion lord soldier type - Native
So, I was trying today to make a kingdom with my companions, strictly with only nordic and rhodok type companions, so when they recruit soldiers, that is strictly the type of soldier that they will recruit. I tried to go off of the wiki of where they had connections to, like Mathled to Wercheg, and Bunduk to Jelkala. Which funny enough were the only ones of the 6 companions that recruited the types of soldiers I wanted. The 6 I made into lords were Mathled to Wercheg, Marind to Sargoth, Deshavi to Tihr, Bunduk to Jelkala, Rolf to Veluca, and Ymira to Yalen. http://mountandblade.wikia.com/wiki/Connections is where I got the information.

That being said, could someone give me some info, and possibly a list of which companion will recruit which type of soldiers?

The last time I paid attention to this, and made notes, things were like this:

Some of the companions recruit soldiers of a type matching the castle you give them. Those are usually the foreigners: Lezalit, Marnid, Rolf, Nizar.

Four of the other companions seemed to have fixed troop types:
Matheld (Nords)
Katrin (Swadia)
Borcha (Khergits)
Artimenner (Swadian)

As for the rest, I consider it a waste to make them into lords. They work better as companions. I do know that Alayan and Klethi used to recruit Vaegirs, though.

Note that things may have changed since I made those notes. It was years ago.

The hero detail pages in the wiki tells you which type of troops each one recruits.
