Chamber Blocks - Parry

I thought releasing the mouse button and attacking in the same direction and right momment was everything...

Turns out... if you hold the attack button in the right direction and dont release it you will parry 0.o

What is the trick? Im inclined to believe you have to hold the attack button in the right direction and right angle... like... aiming at your foes weapon? This is speculation tho as I have no idea but I just noticed it happening a lot lately.
