Native Warband (the unmodded game) gives you a victory screen. That's it.

Then you can keep playing, but apart from killing bandits and deserters, there is nothing to do.

------------

There are mods with a definite ending, though. I would not play them just for the ending, but at least two of them are worth playing anyway: Prophecy of Pendor and The Last Days of the Third Age.

The ending is when you do camp -> retire from adventuring.

Oh, you can do this at any time, but it does not take into account that you have united the map. The best thing you can get on retirement is being a king's best friend, even if you are ruling the map in your own name.

Everyone forgets this easy to forget about and never look at feature, it has all the different endings copied straight out of Sid Meiers Pirates.
You can check them all without actually ending your game, after it gives you the ending, you can simply click "Return to adventuring", which is kind of fulfilling and entertaining. :steamhappy:

This part always annoyed me in how it didnt make sense.... unless youre your own best friend ... which can be kind of sad.
