Yes it does work. Make sure your getting from the Taleworlds website: https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/wb-warband-script-enhancer-v4-7-8-for-1-174.324890/

Some mods require the old 1.174 exe which can be found in the link.

I highly recommend to use SteamEdit because it will make launching warband much easier and switching between WSE and non-WSE easier.
