Tips for taking grunwalder castle?

I'm in the process of eliminating the Rhodok faction, and the grunwalder castle happens to be their end game. I tried to take this castle with 150 men (a mix of top tier troops for the nords, vegirs, sarranids and swadians) but i was unsuccesslful. My crew got killed by sharpshooters faster than i could say ♥♥♥♥.

I'm having a hard time with this castle. I've tried 3 times but all ended up in death and regreat.

Any tips for taking this castle?

Get 300 men and wait the 30 day thing for them to run out of food, then wait another 2 weeks or more will be better if you wait longer but then they will lose food and troops then you attack

Didn't touch native for years, but the tactic should be the same. Never mix your army from too many different origins. When in siege, you only need best Nord heavy infantry as shook troops, best Vegir or whatever sharpshooters, and about ten rhodock spearmen with big heavy shields, as bullet sponges. Order the spearmen advance 20 feet to lure enemy missiles while sharpshooters take out enemy archers and infantry men on the walls. Then order your sharpshooters capture the wall and shoot enemy reinforcements from the wall above, while order the heavy infantry charge to their spawn point, or set a pocket/killing field around the buildings. The you can slaughter them piece meals. Don't involve the battle too much since you possibly need to fight some following in door melee fights.

Your whole army will desert before enemy's food running out.

If you really cant take the castle on your own, get a few vassals to follow you, then with the tactics shenji just posted, you should be able to take that castle.

Actually I don't recommend fight with other lords, their army could mix your rank, lesser your core army strength, and they may not obey your orders even when you were marshal or even a king yourself.
You have to learn how to win a siege by the first deployed soldiers, never count on reinforcement- well formatted and well disciplined fewer elite soldiers can easily beat a massive gang of ruthless angry mobs, only when you know what you are doing. There are some nice videos can show you how to capture a heavily guarded castle with 0 casualty, no cheating, only by good plan, proper preparation, and perfect executing. Remember you are not only a killing machine(which you of course are), but a very smart human being ;)
