Actually good WW1, WW2 or similar mods?

Hey.

I got kinda bored of vanilla-ish Warband, played a bit of Parabellum, it's amazing (sadly got taken down for using stolen assets and stuff..), haven't played Red Wars yet, people were saying that it's hella buggy and I actually want to play it the same way as vanilla Warband, start my own nation, capture towns, etc.. I also tried Snow in The East but it looks like pre-alpha.

Is there anything else?

There's an old mod out there called WW2 China Battlefield, and it's the Japanese invasion of china during ww2, pretty unfinished, but fun and worth looking at.

No, there's singleplayer. as i said it's pretty unfinished, but still worth a look. especially since i can't think of any other mods out there set in the era you want besides the ones you already mentioned.

It's unfortunate how all these years later we still don't have a single well done, finished mod that would involve WWI or WWII.

There's also one called "Last Stand of Calradia" it looks extremely simple, basically just native with guns. personally never tried it.

I'm actually playing Red Wars now. Even tho a lot of comments said it's buggy as hell, for some even boring (it kinda is), but it works without much issues, there are a lot of things that could have been done differently, a lot of things that were not changed at all, it's all just poor design, in good hands such mods could become pretty much standalone game based on Warband haha.

Anyways, it's somewhat fun and enjoyable.

The makers of Red Wars are working on the Red Wars 2 mostly now. which looks interesting, ik the main mod creator released a DL on his discord. haven't tried it tho
