Just found the Bannerpage Mod, how does it compare to Floris?
While I only have a couple of hundred hours in Warband, which is minute compared to most, the majority of my play has been in the interesting yet woefully incomplete Bellum Imperii mod, and the Floris Mod Pack.

Obviously, Floris is quite old by now so it may be showing its age in some areas, and Bannerpage, of course, has arrived on the scene since the release of that... other, game, thing, that is out right now, kinda.

Clearly Bannerpage is an excellent mod, but how do people feel it compares to Floris, in gameplay and balance, features, units etc? Videos look good but would love to see some comment from those familiar with the mod.

Got the mod downloaded and may give it a go in the morning. Do you reckon it is a great spiritual sequel to Floris? Or are the shoes too big to fill?

haven't played bannerpage, but i have played floris and from what i see on yt and moddb, it looks like it's way better than floris, it's probably one of the best, if not, the best native mod out right now, i feel like reinstalling just to try it out
I am on similar boat as Sissy... About 1/3 of my game time in Warband (maybe like 3k hours in total, who know I did measured prior Steam..) was with Floris - and tbh I still value it as one of best mods there - in aprticular I like how each feature works as expected and to my taste - it is well polished as whole and kingdom management that works so well it cna be played as purely strategy game (even though there are other mods very precious to me - could name last days of Third Age, PoP, AWOIAF...) - but I noted so much good about Bannerpage it is really tempting to try out:p Will let you know after;)

Ok, after few hours in I must say it is really well done with many ok features that I knwo from other mods b- in fact I found nothing new here at all, it just put all together very well. I ahve to highlight very well done various reference materials and overviews in reports.

I jsut have to say it is somehow too easy in lot of aspects for my taste. E.g. economy - since day 1 you can play dice or flip coins in tavern and you can get thousands of denars very quickly and for free - but at same time everything is even cheaper than in native *I bought lordly coat of plates during first week for like 16k only... that is dirty cheap. You can start build enteprises form right beginning too... or you can note you start with more attribute and skill points than usual while enemies are again not leveled high as .e.g. in VC or something to compensate that..

Otherwise it is a lot like Floris with reminiscence of native expanded (heck there is even good old Black knight invasion:, if I should compare strictly those two it seems be better because it has most what floris had + lot above 9e.g. improved personal hideout with options similar to PoP personal base)..., on other hand I miss those things:

- bandit leaders with multiple enemy armies for make relevant fight option other than faction war for later game
- expanded unit trees (this sis Native in general)
- some things seems be out of ballance (elite units, grenades..)

Can not comment on kingdom management yeyt.
