Just post your questions here.

This way, other people will be able to find the answers when they look for them.

True, how do i recruit troops?? I know that you don't have money, and there is like little or no towns..(i started as dwarf, new era) campaign.
Most of the quests i am getting offered i need troops....and i can't seem to find a tavern either, are taverns not in this mod?

You do not have money, but you have resources. One type for each faction, and you earn these by questing, selling, etc. If you have rank with a faction, you get some resources each week.

There are no taverns. Explore the map when you enter each settlement, and you will find a character who will offer you recruits. It's been a while since I played, and I was never much into fielding dwarves, but I vaguely remember that you have to exit the dwarf king's hall, and look into the halls - there will be an equipment merchant, a horse/supplies merchant, and an mayor of sorts.

Basically, there are all sorts of characters in settlements: healers, merchants, quest givers, potential recruits, etc. You have to find them yourself.

Yes, you recruit with the RP points. I just checked my version for TLD, and in Erebor, specifically, the dialogue option is "Visit the Erebor barracks" in the main settlement menu. You need the right kind of resources, of course. You may be the Great Hope of Rohan, and they may be willing to give you their best horses, but the elves of Lothlórien may not know you from Imin, and won't let you have a rusty knife.

If you have no resources, you will not be able to even see the recruits, so that may be what is happening in your case.

Maybe they have changed something. I do not have the latest version, but in mine, when I create a new Erebor character, and go to the barracks, I get to recruit.

It should not matter. With which faction do you have your original rank?

If you go to Erebor, do you see a "barracks" dialogue option? If you choose it, what are you torld?

1st dont copy messages
2nd go to town, to barracks, say you want some ppl, at the very beginning (1-2 days) they'll tell they have none so just do some basic quests like messages, hunting criminals, scouting
