TweakMB not working

Sooo it seems that my TweakMb isn't working. I mean, it launches and runs fine but it doesn't change anything. When I save the modified values, I run the game and it runs as if I haven't changed anything. For example, I've modified the morale loss for each troop in the party from -1 to 0 yet when I checked in-game it still shows me the same value(I command 200 troops so assume that from -200 it should have gone to 0.)
I think the only possible problem is that it states explicitly 'version 1.158' and the one we have on Steam is 1.173, however I doubt it because I've read that the 1.158 Native in TweakMb is compatible with all the newer versions.
What could be the problem?

might be that you have to start a new game for the changes to take effect, not entirely sure though.

Yeah this is so old lmfao the problem was that I did not load the actual module I was playing on
