That really makes no sense at all imo. 2 medics could heal the party faster overall lol, hope they add a stacking feature in bannerlord.

Training, however, is completely different than this. The player and all companions apply their Training skill level to all troops at or below their level. Because it's applied to each unit in the army, for all player/companion based on their level, it works differently.

You would have to lower how much 1 point in a skill gives you then to balance it out otherwise you would have 5 scouts who can view 50% of the whole map.
Skill bonus table are as follow
Main character skill : skill Bonus -
2 : 1
5 : 2
8 : 3
10 : 4
So, Jeremus has the highest Surgery skill of 7 and your Surgery skill is 5 then the total skill is 7 + 2 for a total of 9.
If you have the highest skill then you stack your self ... if your Engineering is 5 then it is 5 + 2 or 7.
