right to rule
apparently recruiting a lord is suppose to give you right to rule but when they show up at my castle and i accept their pledge i gain no right to rule so far the only way i can get right to rule is to send companions

i have once looked up a few things on wiki that ended up being false ( posted by people playing modded and assuming the mehcanics were from native )
from what i know , sending companions is the only way to gain right to rule.

You don't get right to rule by accepting their pledge since that means they were indicted for treason or left on their own and looking to join you. You get the right to rule by talking to them in person and then convincing them to defect from their current faction. You also gain right to rule by your king making peace, marrying, making peace as a king and getting recognized as a king by other faction leaders. Though the last one tends to require a good amount of right to rule so that's a bit of a weird one unless you play mods that make use of it.

Just tested it. You gain 5 rtr, if you persuade a lord out of his faction. So he has to be a lord of a faction. You do not get rtr, if they show up at your throne.

Last line of the report. Ignore the rest, that is because of the cheatmenu to gain the right conditions to persuade someone.
