phantasy calradia mod
idk if this is the right place to post this but the official page for the mod is unresponsive even to bug reports, so i am playing a necromancer in this mod, i am editting my character in order to fit that role to my liking, like very low pay for the undead units etc.
but there is suposed to be an option to turn into a lich... i just dont have that option, i have only edited the main stats and have not touched the base necromancy stat
yet there is not option for lichhood in the camp menu, so i am wondering is there something else required to unlock that option... or was it removed...? i dont really know...

I wish I could help you, but I have never played necromancers, and the mod has gone through MAJOR changes, especially to necromancers.

Become a lich was a thing in previous versions. In the most recent ones, if you are a necromancer, you are a lich from the beginning, and everyone treats you accordingly. Take a look at your portrait. Are you looking at a skull? If so, you cannot become any more of a lich.

If you are playing an older version, there was a ritual from the camp menu. You needed a lot of prerequisites. Necromancy 7, 8 or maybe even more, and a ton of gems and precious metals. And finally, you needed access to a specific spell scroll, and I do not remember what it was.

The option will appear once you get the necromancy skill involved.

It seems pretty unpolished (the mod). I don't think the dev ever got around to finishing it.

Yeah, pretty sure I downloaded it from there. It's been a while, so I can't remember exactly what a lot of the bugs I was encountering were. But I was incapable of completely destroying any faction (They'd wind up with a "Lord [insert name here]'s party" quasi-structure/party/...thing? on the map that was indestructible and impossible to take no matter how many times you wiped it...), and occasionally wound up getting bugged out so that my party would become identical to the last defeated lord in a faction I'm at war with, putting me in two factions simultaneously and making it impossible to interact with my lords properly. Along with that, the balance was really skewed in favour of mages (you could literally win all sieges/most battles with nothing else in your party) and I could barely find any wiki info for it.

If it's still fairly new, fair enough. I don't know when it was started, so I'm not necessarily putting this forward as criticism so much as my take on the mod from what I've played on it.

well those buggs that you mentioned are not there anymore instead there are problems with menus in general you can get stuck in a menu of a city or when speaking to a lord (exit/goodbye button stops responding) it is interesting in cities since everything else is working but the exit button, i downloaded a bugfix and i dont encounter this anymore... idk if the bug is still in there

I had that happen. I thought it was all of my mods at one point, but eventually found a way to save/exit and re-enter to fix it. Hasn't happened since.

I'll have to update, those two bugs were the major issue that kept me from finishing my map/character. Thanks for the info :)
