Prophesy of Pendor - what counts as "cheating" for the mod
I know if you cheat in battle (like HP) it slaps you and tells you "dont do it or no achievments for you". What else would qualify as cheating? I dont want to accidentally disable them.

Not sure if its from the enabled cheat mode but I cant play without e.g the faster time (ctrl + space) :D

I think the mod detects if cheats are enabled. So you might not even have to cheat to get the warning.
Faster time does not count and character import/export probably not too.

Faster time, i.e. [Ctrl]-[Space], is not a cheat, and does not count as one for Pendor.

It does not increase just your speed, it does so for everyone.

I've done Char import/export to and haven't gotten cheater, I think it checks if you're inputting the cheat keys :azuki2:

no, it seems to be working only in battles, I use to knock out belligerent drunks in the taverns and the bandits attacking you in towns, I find both annoying as hell. The mod did not complain a single time. I haven't tried cheating in tournaments yet, but I mostly avoid them anyway, I hate the native ones, I really miss floris and the superb work of windyplains, that's how tournaments should have been done.

If you've enabled cheats but don't use them, that mod won't mind. If you use one of the cheats (even if they aren't enabled!) it'll recognize it and give you that slap on the wrist.

It's honestly a bit more than a slap, really, especially if you're trying to play an honorable character.

Control H is the worst offender for the anti cheat detection, whether enabled or not. Have to be careful, as sometimes you need to do the sudden horse stop (control J) and might hit a cheat by accident. Another it watches for is the damage all hostiles command.. forget the keys for that. The one to damage single guys doesn't count against you, they left that as an option for when hostiles spawn inside walls during sieges and such.

Ctrl+Alt+F4 is damage all hostiles. Be wary of a finger slipping off of control when you press Alt+F4.

Do you press [Alt]-[F4] often?

Is this like the old [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[Del] joke we used to throw around in the 80s?

For those who are not as old as I am, [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[Del] used to restart your PC, without any prompt or warning. And for those who do not know, [Alt]-[F4] kills your program outright.

The mod doesn't care if cheats are enabled or not. Ctrl-H definitely counts against you, so be vary careful with Ctrl-J. That burned me one playthough.

If you somehow ACCIDENTALLY are pressing the Hand-of-god cheat - you're really doing something wrong.

Nah, it was kinda intentional when i got warned by the game. I panicked and pressed it :D

Well, I'll admit, I have cheated more than once in a PoP playthrough, usually when I wanted to beat a Noldor army or when I was doing one of those renown quests for a KO. That doesn't mean I'm not good at the game, though. Just yesterday I defended Janos (my fief) against an invading Barclay army with around 570 troops, a good 300+ of those high tier. That was a tough, but very rewarding fight.

How it works is if you are in a battle and you heal yourself or use the ability to damage any enemies it will be detected. Three uses of it won't disable the achievements but will disable the rewards for them.

Any cheats you use outside of combat is 100% okay with the mod. It just doesn't like you cheating in battles.
