Things that seem to help persuade the A.I. to make peace:
- the war has been going on for long enough. Most mod have that at two-three weeks
- the faction is at war on multiple fronts
- the faction has been losing land, quickly
- the player faction holds no core land (i.e. you aren't holding Suno and asking Swadia for peace)
- the player has high right to rule
- the player has not poached a lord recently
None except for the first one are deal breakers, but none of them is a magic bullet, either.
They are at war on two fronts
They havent lost land quickly, I've mostly been defending and only just took a second castle.
It is their core land
I have low right to rule
Havemt poached any lords
No self respecting king is going to bend the knee or shake hands with an upstart warlord, victory or defeat.
One of the qoutes for war is "...continue the war for the sake of honor". Some kings will be absolutely mulish in their desire to get rid of you, even if they can't.
That is of course, just my opinion. I am not familiar with Nova Aetas so some things could of changed.
