What I want to point out is that this game mechanic of "not being able to kill lords" allows the player a lot of room to "restart progress" without restarting a game.
One day you're a vassal under a king. The next day you ARE the king. It's a whole new game now--you're trying to gather lords under your new banner. That same lord you captured last time, you might need his help now, even if it's temporary. And if you could kill him (which if players could, they are likely to massacre lords by the bushel), then you will have trouble finding help to start your new kingdom. (Because the lords easiest to recruit when starting a new faction are usually the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones who are most likely to die if a death mechanic exists)
Or maybe your faction gets smashed and you need to switch sides. That lord you captured--you'll have to get on his good side now.
How can you have more then one mod because i'm using one that allows me to recruit units from the bar keep.
I've set the execution chance really low, because otherwise the faction power balance gets skewed quickly: One faction ends up steamrolling others, with little chance of comeback once the snowball starts rolling.
Once lords starts defecting and getting exciled, the map starts feeling deserted... which means boring gameplay.
I don't know why they didn't go the way of total war, where an officer moves up the ranks, and can be married into the family.
That's Floris Evolved I think. I don't remember seeing that option Floris Expanded or Gameplay.
just wondering
I don't care if no one likes me lol, I'm a warlord. I just want to be able to ware me a belt with lords and kings and heads stuffed and stuck to it. Kinda like the witcher sticks heads on his horse and tosses it to people whom have requested a bounty on said creature.
But anywho despite the long as hell loading on fire and ice, it seems like a really fun mod. Even though i miss recruiting soldiers from the bar keeper.
If you really want to execute them, the Floris Evolved and couple of other mods allow that
Not being able to execute them is unrealistic, you ever heard a snake has many heads? You chop one off another one grows to replace it?
How many Obama drones blew up one terrorist, for another one worst to replace it? I'll probably have to look into modding the game myself to get desired results.
