Quest help: Revenge: A Snake in the Eye' [Spoilers]

Quest says "Jarl told me Sven Bull Neck is Sigurd 'Snake in the Eyes' vassal. If I'm ever in Danmark to seek him out.

Well I went over and did about 4 or 5 random quests for him but there doesn't seem to be any dialog options to talk about Sven Bull Neck. And he eventually said he didn't need anything from me. My reputation with him is around 45 currently.


It seems that I have options 1. Defend Doccinga from Sven's attack 2. Join the feast and kill the king (I can't do this as he states I need to defend Doccinga first???) 3. Seek out that guy in Dan mark (I can't get anything to work over there regarding the quests.)

What am I missing here?

You're missing the fact that you have only one option - defend Doccinga. If you had read between the lines the first time you spoke to the individuals involved (and done so in the developers's version of English) you would have noticed that fighting the vikings is the only thing you can really do without the others support. Which you are not getting, period.

you will not kill the king you have to stop the vikings at which point they will give you about a week to leave before the entire kingdom of frisia thats what they are basically so you will get a boat to leave and go to denmark
