is there a way to make WSE work on the steam version?

a fair few mods here on steam need the warband script enhancer and I was wondering if someone knew how to make it work for the steam version if at all?.

If I'm not wrong, current version of M&B is not supported (yet?). Also if I remember correctly, original WSE project is discontinued but another coder/developper has updated it (and he is still active I believe). You can also find older M&B .exe(s) on his thread.

you can actually just claim the game on taleworlds using your steam key and play with wse that way
