Help with obtaining a Castle
I am currently a Vassal of the Rhodoks, I have 460 Renown, I fight alot of battles for the Rhodoks, and I have helped take many many enemy castles, yet whenever I aid capture a castle, I get support from about 3-4 Lords, including King Graveth, but I never get the Castle, and after all this, I still only have the one Fief I was given when I became a Vassal. My question is, how do I get a castle?

you generally needed to be the one who started the siege and then took the castle single handedly

You need to be the one, who starts the siege and wins it. So you can get supported by friendly lords. Might be a good idea to asks them, if they want to follow you.

If you conquere the castle you get an option to claim this one, even if Graveth does not give it to you, you can break your oath and keep it.

You have to increase your relation with the king and you can recommend yourself to obtain the fief. If the king approves and support you, it gives higher chance to obtain a fief.

Just like in real life, skills lose to the fact that someone simply likes you.

Yeah you kind of need to have very good relation with the lords, especially the king to convince them to support you having a fief. Or you can just besiege a fief alone(if you're a vassal there is a chance they will not reward it to you, giving you an option to rebel)

The only thing is, whenever I ask lords to follow me, they say that I should follow them

Maybe you need to increase your relationship with certain lords you'll want help from so they'll actually follow you and listen to orders you give them. You also can't have to many fiefs/castles/cities otherwise your king pulls the "I think you've been adequately rewarded" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so be careful of that.

You probably need to increase your renown. With 460 you are still a "young/new" lord.

Update: I finally got a castle! I didn’t even have to go to different Lords and ask for their support, they just supported me already!

Bunny, as soon as I got the castle I got a Nord Wife, I had a relationship of 38 with her, and I married her straight away! However he father disapproved, and I’m now an Enemy if Jarl Haeda, But I own 4 fiefs and a castle and he only owns 1 castle, I usually maintain an army of 81 and he usually holds around 70, and Nords and me are at peace, so it don’t matter too much
