Is there a way to make helmet invisible so I can see my head?

I'm playing as a chick and she's pretty hot. Is there a way to let her wear a helmet in battle but make it invisible so I can still see her hair? :D

play with no helmet, or mb remove the helmet textures from the game files? you could verify game cache if something goes wrong.

If your playing a mod with some smallish item, like a ring, in it, then you can edit that item into a helmet. I make them about equivalent to an average helmet, but still will have most of my companions wear it. The real tanky guys will still get the heavy helmets as I get them tho.
If the mod doesn't have one, then you have to find one in a different mod and add it in, which is way more work.

I think of it as a cinematic mode.

Some mods feature "invisible helmets".

Not sure how they do it but I would assume it is possible to make a custom piece for your character.
