Marriage Question
I've been courting the Lady Irena for awhile now, and have got up to about +35 in relationship with her and she wants to marry. Her father, Count Tredian I also have around +30. But when I went to ask for her hand in marriage, he was put off by the fact that I hadn't asked for permission to court her in the first place. Is there any way that I can convince him to let us marry at this point? Or do I have to elope or find another lady?

I think you just have to wait a few days to ask again. Try to boost your renown in the meantime. Win a tournament and then talk to him at the feast.

Only two kinds of women would elope, adventurous and romantic kind. Others would elope but too difficult.
