What is the best way of making money? So right now I have been just going to every single tourney there is and winning every time. Making probably around 10k+ a tourney. Then every once in a while I would buy a Property to rent out to people. My current income from my properties is 4778. Is there a faster and more efficient way of making more money? I have 744 Renown and 1448 Prestige. I am not a vassal and hold no Town, Village or Castle. Right now my main goal is just making a ton of money.

I don't think it's possible to have a court as a vassal. Normally you'll get a kingdom if you create a castle without being a vassal, but never tried doing it whilst being vassal myself so didn't know.

I crank out tournaments. You can leave town/wait using space+ctrl for a second and check back and there are actually multiple rounds of tournaments per day. I haven't worked out the timing or exactly how its triggered, but there are always at least 3 tournaments per day if there's a feast on and sometimes as many as 5/6. Winning the max bet each round plus the first place prize nets about 10k per tournament. Takes some practice because the equipment is poop, but is fun once you get good at it.

I always just build my first castle with my own hands and tools. Takes a while but takes only few pickaxes and axes + your time. Much cheaper than hiring workers and paying them 8k per week for mere 6% of construction every week. You can become a blacksmith and a carpenter and you'll be able to make tools by yourself to put into the castle. Not only that, it gives you more benetifs. You can craft a blackpowder gun faster than any faction can access it for example.
You get a good sum of money fron that single castle. Make sure you don't hire any new members as they take 10k florins per week each.
I think the castle generates like 40k florins to its treasury and then gives you your king's purse (you can increase it, can't remember where unfortunately)
If you have enterprises make sure to upgrade them and hire more workers.
