The more, the better.
High renown lets you lead more men, receive more fiefs, influence noblemen more easily, marry in more powerful families, etc, etc, etc.
High honor improves your relations with the lords with the best personalities. That alone makes it invaluable.
How much do you need before you strike out for yourself? It depends on how badаss you feel, and how much you rush into things.
With my last character, I had 2132 renown and 86 honor on day 42... but that was an all out, planned speed run.
Is the counter still rising? welp, keep going.
There is generally ALWAYS a need for renown.
Right to rule however, I think 40-60 is a good range to start your kingdom(you did not ask, but there is a solid minimum on this one).
Honor kinda depends on what your going, but weather its honor or dishonor the more the better, and honor is easier and more useful.
By day 42, i'd be lucky to have 100/150 renown (using "No Fair Fight's" strategy/tactics 1 v 20 or 30) and 10 honour.
Please enlighten me.
I personally caped at around 2600 renown in Nativ. You could push it even higher, but at some point you will not have enough opponents to fight to keep the renown high.
With 1056 renown you can have ~80-90 soldiers? I would say that is a bit low compared to your character level.
Well at some point I do not care about money anymore, but renown is always nice to get more.
