Kicks from server?

So I got the game from G2A which he gave me a product key to activate on steam as a steam product. After installing i tried to join my friends game and all other servers kick me.

I permantley deleted the game off my account on steam website. Then purchased a real copy off steam but it notice it gave me the same serial key as before? ( when it prompts when you load the game up asking for you to renember it)

The same problem still happens? Any ideas?

Who did you get the game from?

It's probably your vac ban.

VAC bans have no affect. He got it off of a site named Ģ2A, a very shifty, nearly illegal thing.

Hey i deleted it off my regedit and from my libary from website, i got it off steam now and paid full price? it lets me play like 10 mins then kicks me? any ideas?

The key you received might be a generated/hacked one, which stops you from connecting to multiplayer servers because those keys are usually shared between a lot of players.

Buy a legit key from steam next time.

If you both read I got it off steam the second time, got a new serial key and it kicked me again? so :S

IF you installed the game with a different key previously, this maybe because of it. There seems to be a couple of potential fixes.

if you did install the game with a different key, you needneed to regedit to remove that old key / change it to your current one.

otherwise you could open rlg_config My Documents and change the secure connections line to 0, or if its at 0 to 1.

I got mine from g 2 p l a y like a week ago and it works fine, but my mates having the same problem.

i bought from steam a while ago... used to paly it jsut fine, a friend of mine was playing it and i went to join and now i get kicked from every server
