Tournament in my town
Hi,

I own a town as a king and a tournament just began, but i didn't organize anything.
I have the mod Diplomacy.

Is it a bug or is it normal ?

It's normal, you get to organize feasts not tournaments.I haven't ever seen the option to organize a Tourney in vanilla or Diplomacy.Perhaps a tourney comes with holding a feast.Never really noticed as I ignore tournaments for the most part.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help,I'm sure someone with greater knowledge and understanding of vanilla or Diplomacy will be along shortly to help. =)

It happens. When you organize a feast in a city, you get a tournament by default, but sometimes, there is a tournament without a feast - in your cities, or elsewhere.

To be honest, it's a bit of an exploit that you do not have to pay for the purse in the tournaments that you organize. In mods where first place in a tournament is thousands of gold, sitting in your city and pocketing the purse and the bet income five times a day is a pretty solid way of earning.

It's mod related. When you are king and there are no war in your kingdom, your beloved wife will host a endless feast, thus the tournament. It costs nothing, not even the household provisions. It's best for improve your relations with your pet vassals, though those who despised you will never come to the feast.
The feast will over as soon as your kingdom goes into war.
That's why I never joked about king Haralus.
