Game runs on integrated GPU, need help solving that
I have a GTX 770 and a while back this beautiful game started running like crap (new drivers, dont want to downgrade).

It's trying to run it on integrated intel GPU.

Any idea how to fix?

so it goes something like this:
go into documents and delete the ini. (not the one in your game folder, that is the template ini.)
open up Nvidia settings,go to 3D settings and manually set it to use your 770 instead of global settings, restart computer, relaunch game,go to video settings and check that things look ok and fire up the game.all things being equal it should be using the 770 now, unless you've done something else your not telling us (could be those new drivers)

smoking gun uses the LONG way around. Everytime you startup your computer you have a key that goes into the motherboard and allows you to change the settings of particular things like video, audio and lan. It's easy to cycle through these till you find your onboard video. Just turn it off and turn on PSI or AGP whichever one you are using. Simple as that. Easier than all that stuff smoking gun told you.
well, you could have told him the key then..:tgrin:

That's why I said button/key...each motherboard is a little different

I don't think everyone tinkers with their computers like we do so either one could be daunting to him.

I have one old motherboard the delete key takes you to the motherboard contents
it should say bottom-left on start-up

Some factory made computers are setup to not even show those keys you need to press. They just black out the screen until you get to the windows login page.
true, you can change that, but i forget how at the mo

Most everything can be changed in the motherboard. You just have to dink around in there looking for things that might be what you want to change and be sure and note them if you do mess up. It's where you overclock the cpu and the memory etc. etc. also. I always say though if you don't understand it don't change it. :) But, in my case I like to mess with the numbers so I change them to see what will happen so I know in the future. Since I have multiple computers I'm not worried if one goes down for a little bit.

Back in the day of 3.1 I don't know how many times I loaded those 13 floppy disks to get my computer back to normal after I mucked with something. lol

i only have one poxy little laptop,it has an nvidia chip as well as intelR.depending on the game one will work better than the other,so that is why i do it that way,so it is per software used rather than hard-set
it sounds like alot but i can do that much quicker than i can restart my computer anyway

You can't adjust the settings in your video cards setup pages? I seem to remember where you put in the .exe file name and then adjusted the graphics to your liking for each individual game?
yes, that is what i'm talking about

Turning off my GPU is not really what I wanted...
