Selling lords into slavery?

So i saw through the achievements and saw as a lady sell 3 lords into slavaer, is that a thing?

Yes. You need to win battles against lords and take 3 lords prisoner. You must keep them in your prisoner inventory until their faction offers you their ransom. The simplest method is save your game before attacking, so you can fight/reload/repeat until you've taken the lord prisoner 3 times.

I recommend reading "Mount & Blade Warband 100% Achievement Guide" by Slavic Raven. It'll answer most of your questions.

No the kingdom just pays you a ransom to release them

Yeah io can confirm i got this achievement recently. Just hold lords until you sell for ransom 3 times. Does not have to be holding 3 lords at the same time you can hold just 1 lord at a time or 2 etc. It triggers once the third lord has been ransomed.
BTW Ransom will happen automatically, as far as i know you cant approach someone to ransom a lord but you will get a message that xxx wishes to offer you the sum of xxx for xxx lord.

Do they have to be with you at all times & ransomed back or can you put them in your jail & do that? Because I've tried that with a female character, she had 5 lords in Jail, sold them all back. No Achieve.

I dont know but i never had a fief etc so when it triggered for me all my lords were with me at the time.
