What Are Your Warband Records?
I'm curious, what are your records? What's the largest battle you've ever fought? How long did it take you to found a kingdom or conquer Calradia? What's the largest army you've ever had or seen? What's the hardest shot you've ever landed? How many kills have you gotten in a battle without dying? What's the biggest odds you've faced but still come out the victor?

If you have screenshot or video proof that would help and be appreciated as evidence. Asking out of curiosity, but if enough people respond I will make a video on Warband records :)

I've fought in a 2000 vs 4000 in Floris Expanded.

My best speed run in Native was a few game days after 180. 187 I think.

I've personally led 1600 men in Viking Conquest. In Floris Expanded, my wife would lead campaigns with 8000 men. She played the game as an RTS, really.

Hardest shots? I haven't had it enabled for ages, I do not remember what the range of values is.

But the wildest shot I have ever landed was in Prophecy of Pendor. I was playing a guy with a crossbow on a horse, and the enemy charged from the get go. I did not think the crossbow was any use, I decided to put it away and start cutting. My wife-to-be was watching me, and jokingly I said, never store a loaded crossbow, so I fired in the enemy's general direction. BOOM-head-shot, Valkyrie down. We laughed our аssеs off.

Kills in one battle? 300+ for sure in mods that count the kills, probably a lot more than that in sieges. I used to play a solo character in Phantasy Calradia, and there I have wiped 600 strong skeleton armies singlehandedly, but it does not really count, because of magical armor, healing unicorn, laying of hands, turning undead, etc, etc, etc.

Gekokujo, 15 vs 1200, at 135% difficulty. I even got it on video. Using these guys.

Please teach me the ways of not being a scrub.

I have an addiction of always enabling cheats, just to make the economy a bit easier. But I always start over and never take over Calradia (or any other mod world), because I grow extremely bored whenever I decide to screw up my save with cheats.

I'm also very interested in that 15 vs 1200 at 135% difficulty. What kind of troops were you using? I've played a bit of Gekokujo, but never really gotten into it, albeit I love the feudal Japan.

I think that's at the bottom of your problems. When using cheats or playing with reduced damage, you cheat yourself out of the challenge, so you never work hard to achieve things, so you never get the satisfaction of pulling something awesome out of a mess.

I would suggest starting slow. Not hiring troops, just traveling around, collecting companions, looting bandits, and saving the money for enterprises. A horse archer is perfect for that. Gekokujo is a perfect mod for a horse archer.

Companions, all wearing armor constructed with an imported European breastplate, and equipped with either a ōdachi and yumi, or nagamaki and teppo. I actually included a screenshot in the above post, but possibly after you first read it. They put out an insane amount of lead and steel in the air, and once the enemies gets into close range, they get cut by two ranks of long weapons (the ōdachi and nagamaki are both huge swords in real life, although in the mod the latter is used as a polearm)

Here is a video of them fighting off more than a hundred men sallying out of a garrison.

here is my best mounted shot and I hit twice in a row! Total luck, as when i took the shot i could not see the enemy and just tried to curve the shot over a hill.

here is when i had the most lords i have ever had in a single dungeon.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=284830653

ive recently learned the value of letting lords go after a battle... took me longer than it should have! no wonder i never made friends with any lords! (on a female play-through, that might have helped!)

Here is the score of the first game i ever played/completed, figuring out the game for myself and playing with all default settings.

and when i made my first million on my first game. all legit but with default (read: easy) settings:

and while not Warband, the most money I have ever had (legit) was in Blood & Gold:

Blood & Gold: Caribbean might be my favorite "mod" for this game. Took me a while to get into it, but its just great. (I wont share the nekkid screenshots i took in that game... leave out the beaver!)

Always play on the highest difficulty I can 120-130% or something. largest battle i fought was about 2000 vs 2000. It took me 400 or so days to conquer Calradia. The largest army I personally had was 200 or so, if you don't count other lords following you. I gotten over 100 of kills without dying a few times. The biggest odds I faced was 50 vs 2000. i have no proof tho rip i dont take screenshots that much

My biggest battle? Blood and Steel mod, in an earlier version, castle defense of 150 troops against over 5000 (literally the entire enemy nation showed up, and it was late in the game where there were a total of 3 factions, my fledgling one, the khergits, and the rhodoks). Thank god for replenishing ammo and OP grenadiers. Spent the entire battle under the siege ladder blasting groups of 3-4 guys at a time with what was effectively a sawn-off double barreled shotgun. Battle lasted three and a half hours.
