Anyone play prophesy of pendor mod? need help
Just wondering, I'm at the grandmaster quest for the knight order. but it's the knights of dragon for ravernstern, my current faction. I want my own pendor faction in the future with the order of the griffin. if I become grandmaster will I be able to quit the dragon and become grandmaster of the griffon and get them a fortress as well or can you just do this once and when you are grandmaster you can no longer leave? I don't want to be tied down to this KHO I can't leave and can't use because their troops are no longer the ones I use...

You can quit the order of the Dragon but then you gain -5 relations with every other knighthood order. After that you can set up an order and you either have to be neutral or likable then you can be grandmaster. If you have a qualis jem try making your own Knighthood order,i have seargents and kinghts with over 550 profecencies in every level

yeah I was just wondering what the conditions for start a chapter/quitting were before I was stuck with a ravenstern order but no ravernstern troops lol so I guess I need to quit the order of the dragon before I make it to grandmaster :( as king of pendor Griffin is pretty much the only/best choice, ebony maybe but I'm already friends with the noldor so that's a bad idea.
Also, does anyone know HOW exactly I start an order of the griffin lol
The Griffon is complicated. If you have NOT started with the special character option which makes you an enemy of most kingdoms, you need a specific companion... Sir Dandelion (or something like that)

In addition, you need a walled fief that does not already have a knight order chapter, and maybe a certain minimum honor or a Qualis gem. Every order is a bit different, and I have always gone with either the order of the Ebony Fist(?) or with a custom one.

--------

My wife is sure that the Griffon does not require a Qualis gem, but requires a certain minimum honor. She's probably right.

Thanks sir, but it would appear I'm too late. during my last save (only one) I went back to my keep to turn in a quest with the dragons and was ambushed by snake cult, killed them off, but now I no longer have the option to leave the order of the dragon so I guess I'm stuck with them for the rest of the game :/ I guess I can always just...create my kingdom of pendor with ravenstern troops I guess. just sucks. wasn't what I had planned and don't want to restart a new game.
the requirements for the knight orders should be in the game concepts under the notes tab. you can also create orders even if you're the grandmaster of another order as long as you meet the requirements, but you can't join another order

I must be missing something. You can have multiple chapters of multiple orders in your fiefs, whether because you conquered them or formed them yourself. Being the grandmaster of one order does not prevent you creating or recruiting other orders.
just go search wiki, griffon is one the easiest to creat, it only needs you pick the certain birth option when you creat your character. Like a strange letter changed your fate or something.
Also, if you are unaware, you can upgrade troops to the knighthood order that is in the casle/town that you own. So, even if you aren't a member of the Griffons you can create knights and sargeants from the corresponding noble troops once you have a Griffon chapter established.

The Prophesy of Pendor wiki is a great resource.
