The Revenge: Sven the traitor

Heya folks, i'm currently trying the above named quest. After Sven attacked Harald's troops i have fled and landed on Northhymbre so i can inform Rathbart Ragnarsson about Sven's deeds. But since i have a bad relationship with Northhymbre(due to christian clergymen spreading bad word about me), he attacks me once i get into his vicinity. There is no way i could talk to him. There was this one option where i can try to talk to him but he just ignores it and attacks me.
What to do now?

Start improving relations so you can talk to him.

If you can find a way to get to him while he's in a feasthall, that might work? A feast might be one way to do that? Wait for wars to end, start kissing every priests ass that you can find, etc.

On release, I couldn't find a way to play as a Pagan. I'm not sure what it's like now but your story sounds awfully familiar.

If you're really stuck, converting is also an option.

Help him in battle, quest, gifts... you need to improve relationships with him before talking.

The problem right here is that, due to the christian clergymen, my relationship with those men deteoriates faster than i could improve it.

But he is pagan. I don't understand your issue.

Backspace and use the arrow keys, enter to raise the sail.

It's not rocket science. next time read the instructions the game gives you.

This is old post but since I had same problem last night I will comment, I had -20 relations with them after the attack and was at war with them even tho I had no faction yet, I tried everything to get relations up but was pain wondering around looking for them in trouble, most the time I couldnt even help them in battle anyways due to not being at war with the people they were fighting.

But he is pagan. I don't understand your issue.

He actually isn't a pagan, he is Christian.

The best solution I found was to export my character and start a brand new game, it is not very far into the storyline, it sucks to lose all the reputation and stuff but atleast I got to keep my level.
