Some good story mods?
I'm just getting into using mods, can someone recommend some good story mods that ideally 1) aren't insanely challenging- I've conquered the regular map once, on mediumish settings
2) Don't change the core gameplay too much, like not a WW2 FPS conversion mod

Also for my second play through I created a female archer and named her "Legolass". I'm very proud of that and just want to share that with people.
Thanks!

I'm not sure is there any mod that is like VC storymode, but some of the mods like PoP are interesting enough to suck a few hundred hours off of you I think.

I haven't yet. I was looking for free mods, but if VC is good I'll get it on sale.

For a full blown story, there is the Wedding Dance and Adventure mod for Mount and Blade Classic, the main quest in Viking Conquest, the three main quests in With Fire and Sword, and the at least three main quests in La guerre de Cent ans.

Many mods have long quest chains, with multiple set pieces, battles and objectives - Viking Conquest and Prophecy of Pendor have at least one each, and some are quite elaborate. Perisno and the ♥♥♥ have more than I can be bothered to count, and quite a few others require have multiple steps to achieve a specific objective, which can be considered a quest, even if it only a quest to obtain a really cool horse, a powerful companion or non-standard settlement.

The thing is, most good mods are balanced for full difficulty (up to 135%) and thus, you can expect them to be quite challenging.
