Two handed sabre.

I would take the sword if on horse, just for the reach.

I hope you're not mounted, otherwise it'd be as useful as T-rex arms.

I use a long balanced awlpike with 185 reach and i think 35p when mounted.

So this is for foot. I'd go with the sword, the 25p will help with armored foes and the greater reach and speed will also be a boon. The bonus against shields is useless as you're wasting strikes to wear down a shield.

Just use whichever one you prefer, if range isnt a problem use the axe. If it is use the sword

I just use a maul lmao. It doesn't care about anything.

It does care about stuff. Namely arrows, javelin and other projectile weapons.

I recommend a Warhammer. Best blunt weapon in the game since it allows you to still use a shield.

I bet you hate arrows.

If it is for your companions...the shorter reach seems fine. If I find a nice one handed axe I will give them to them all the time and I will still see them getting plenty of kills while mounted. I think most of the time they just collide into thier target anyway.
