What are Claimants and What to do with them?
I see a couple of them visiting my capital every day. I talk to them, then go to the current king of the faction they talked about. But I don't know what to do. I'm currently the biggest faction and I win every war I join. I recently got 2 peace requests at the same time. Will that Claimants help me to weaken other factions?

Claimants are there to usurp a throne. You can get them to join you like a companion (with amazing stats by the way), and you instantly go to war against the faction they are trying to usurp.

When you do that, you become a new faction (called rebels of whatever faction you're fighting, so for example sarranid rebels or swadian rebels) and your goal is to wipe out the faction you are fighting.

Before wiping them out you are basically king of the faction and can operate them like your own, but once you win the war, the faction turns back into swadia or whatever, and the claimant becomes the king or queen, you become the Marshall and right hand man of the ruler.

I think you have an easier time of converting vassals from the faction you're fighting into the rebels than usual because it's like a civil war though.

I don't know if you can do them if you already run your own faction though. And you can't do them while you're a vassal of another faction.

But you can do the claimants for multiple factions. Like usurp swadia, leave that faction, usurp the sultunate , leave, and start your own faction and have 2 ally factions for awhile.

You cant help claimants if you are already a monarch. The claimants want to take the throne from the ruler thats sitting on it because the have a claim to it and you can help them become the new ruler. She/He will give you marshalship and the best fiefs

I'm already a king and a marshall of a faction. So I'll be marshall of 2 factions? Oh wait, I'm confused a bit..

And there's a another problem that I'm having but that's very out-topic. How do I make my towns richer and make them have a better economy? Sorry but I don't want to spam discussions :/

First off you want to change the taxes on low for a while until the town gets richer and you can build stuff that increases prosperity from the manage town option. I dont play native at all pretty much so i dont really know how the prosperity thing works

I play diplomacy though and the only thing that can be built are for prisoners etc. And I already set taxes to very low. Thank you so much for helping me...

1) Keep the cities from being besieged.
2) Maximize the number of friendly cities, through conquest or peace treaties, for extra caravans.
3) Keep caravans coming, i.e. do not let anyone rob them.
4) Keep nearby villages (everyone who uses the town as a market) from being pillaged.
5) Allow peasants to freely come and go, i.e. keep noble enemies and outlaws off them.
6) Keep taxes low until the prosperity maxes out.
7) If you're using a mod with national policies, favor the cities... at the risk of рissing off vassals.

I'm trying to build stuff on villages around the town and do the quests of the village elders. And the town that I'm talking about is my capital which hasn't been besieged once. I'm also playing with Diplomacy btw.
