MODS and templates

Can the next BIG update be mod support and tools to make them?
Building blocks for characters, mobs, buildings and ... well all else. It would make the game development so much better when you have a community willing to add stuff to make the game better. I am running out of ideas for town layouts because I have little decorations and buildings to go with. The same with character, class and monster creation. Well, here I fare better than with making towns but would still like to see thousands of options to choose from to be honest.

Another thing would be nice to have besides character template, is buildings layout templates, full character and skill share and same for mobs.

I want to be able to share and download a class full with abilities and such, same for mobs, an entire town layout or an entire dungeon with mobs and all settings. I want to see what others did and learn or inspire myself from that. Or perhaps open myself a test world where I build stuff with no cost and import that something into my save where I have progression and cost enable.

I am sure I could spend more time to say more but would be better to have people pitch to this or ask stuff for clarification and see what we come up with.

Would be cool to have a set of modding tools no doubt but idk about the scope of it all. The website already has a road map (which is about to undergo a re-mapping iirc from the last devlog) and workshop and community sharing is part of the (current) plan. Seeing how dungeons just came out, we'll probably have to wait to see what direction the devs wanna take the game from here on out.

Nice. I do hope modding comes next as big update and sharing more complex stuff like blueprints between saves and people as well. from my game play these are a very nice to have.

Is there any info regarding if I need to start a new save for this update or not?
