Feature suggestion

You should have a feature that allows for characters to have custom interactions with each other. For example, Character 1 can have specific interactions with Character 2 depending on their relationship status.

Also adding furniture that the characters can interact with. For example, a couch that the character can sleep in.

Having them interact with the screen. Like for example, gameplay of a footage and a character reacts to it (Might need AI for this and also difficult to implement).
