Can I reset the keystroke counter?

I love the feature of the keystroke counter and look at it going up when I'm working on something, but I wanted to know if it's possible to reset it? I haven't found any option to in the settings so I don't know if it's already included, or if anyone has been able to I'd like to know too!! :]

The developers would probably have a better answer for this but as far as I know there's no option to reset the counter within the app. BUT it's still possible, you just have to navigate some files and use a text editor to change some variables.

Somewhere in appdata there should be a folder labeled with the dev's name in one of the folders (there were some concerns about this so for those who don't know, this is standard for steam games, just contains game data, nothing to worry about).

Navigate through that > OC DESKTOP > DEMO, there should be a json file called playerdata which contains exactly what it says, including total click count.

With whatever text editor you're using (I think notepad should work? But in this case I used VSC), change the totalclickcount variable to zero. There's also the gold variable which also contains total keystrokes, but that seems to be for a different feature so I don't think that needs to be changed to reset the actual counter (I could be wrong though, I set both to zero when I did this).

I'm not exactly great at explaining these sorts of things, so hopefully the way I explained it suffices. I do hope they add a way to reset the keystroke counter in the settings though, I'm sure most people wouldn't want to mess with their files just to do so.

Edit: Correction, it is in fact specifically gold you need to set to zero in order to reset the counter. I think. I did also set other variables to 0 which didn't reset the counter, and gold was what did it, so I'm assuming that's the variable the counter goes off. Again, hopefully the devs add a way to reset the counter from within the app,,
