Bug report - pupils disappear any time i interact with the characters

issue is what the title says. pupils consistently disappear any time i do anything with the characters- this only started happening after either 1. i changed the name of my 4th character to turn them into a different one or 2. the game suddenly gave me a popup about system vs cloud storage

just thought i would report it so hopefully it can be ironed out for the full game! this game is very cute and i'm excited for the full version.
