Characters on a black screen [Linux]

The game works well, I can customize and interact with my characters, but they're on a black screen.
I don't know if is necessarily due to the fact that I use Linux Mint but maybe it can help.

having the same issues here too, im using windows. it was fine on the first day of download, but it started displaying black screens since then and stopped working properly, the transparency didnt work anymore

same issue XD, i have 3 monitors, it only works on my 3rd one but my main one and second are both black screens :(( (im on windows)

I ran this as the launch command and it worked
WINE_LAYERED_OVERLAY_ALPHA=1 %command%

Note: this is only from Linux stuff

I'm also on windows (11) and it worked perfectly on initial launch, but once I restarted my PC for the first time after running it, I get nothing but black screen now with no transparency.

This works on me with Proton GE. Arch Linux, KDE PLasma

Chiming in. Transparency doesn't work on windows 11.

update: on windows 11 I right clicked the .exe, went to properties -> compatibility and checked "disable fullscreen optimization" and that fixed the issue.

me personally I had DSR factors on to scale my screen resolution and I believe this is what might've been causing that black screen/ transparency issue.

just try reset everything and see if things works :)

Try disabling steam overlay it worked for me!
