Names for Places In-Game?
Does anyone else randomly make up names for areas in game? When my friends are trying to find where I am, I'd rather tell them a short name than try to describe the area each time.

For example, the small mountain between the snowy forest and the big snowfield that usually has some crystals and fable flowers on it, I call Sugar Mountain because it's covered in snow which reminds me of sugar. Plus there's always some goodies on it, and goodies are sweet.

The large mountainous area above the entrance of the purple cave, I used to call the Green Mountains because it was the largest mountain range in the green/spring/summer area, but then I noticed while sitting on it that there was a small mountain range ahead of it that sits in front of the big lake with all the little islands in it. I thought that smaller mountain looked a bit like a turtle, so I like to call the small one Little Turtle, and so the Green Mountains had to become Big Turtle, since they're both so close to water.

Sadly, I have loads more. Don't make me feel weird--think up some more names for places and put them here! :meadowwolf:

The big boulder in the winter zone I constantly call 'Egg Rock', despite the... minimal resemblance to an actual egg. Wheeze. And the one area where it's always raining, that's Rain Forest to me- just for the vague pun/wordplay. :HBReading:

If you go to where that huge gap is near home tree and turn left and continue until you find a place with some water and the entrance to a cave you are in what I like to call Highland Oasis.
There even is a den(not really a den that your thinking of but it reminds me of one) that is good for Roleplay. Every time I go there a mid sized obelisk is normally there. If you go left(or right if your near the cave) from the "den" you will come across an area that is packed with crystals and a fair amount of flowers.

There's a rock formation by a mountain that's close to the burnt/foggy area that I've dubbed "Pride Rock" for kinda obvious reasons lol

Sorry for a bit of necroposting, but I love this names for landmarks question, and have even asked it myself in another Meadow-themed community!
Okay, here it comes, where's that list of mine...

1. The winter and autumn areas I call just that - Winter and Autumn. It's fun to think that in this world a season is not a time, but a place, and everybody just rolls with that :)

2. The tallest mountain is the Eagle Peak. The lake area next to it - the Eagle Nest (I stole that from someone in that other community). The rapids that go from the lake to the hills below - the Eagle Rapids.

3. The tall oak tree in the middle of the northern hills is the Stargazer. Guess why ;)

4. The tall black peak between Winter and Autumn is the Black Fang. (Sounds hostile, but I just don't trust that thing, it's boring at best and dangerous at worst to climb...)

5. There are two little rivers around the Great Lake (the one with lots of islands). One starts north of it -west from the Great River as it exits the cave - and flows onto the lake. Another flows out of the Great River south of the Lake, wiggles around a bit and falls off the edge in Autumn. I call them Tagalong River and Runaway River :)

6. The edge of the world, by the way, I think has every right to be called "the horizon". Makes sense, huh?

7. Wow, seven already... That bunch of ginger snowed-over trees around the icy lake in Winter? That's the November Grove - the place of constant thaw after the first snow. (If only the animals had an idea of how months work.) And the waterfalls hiding the cave entrance I call the Waterwall.
