You need to jump a bit before the kick. Practice on an empty stadium on your own room (create one protected by password so no one will join and disturb your training).
I removed this move from the tutorial, because it was too difficult for new players. Currently I hope that people just figure this out (that the angle of your avatar and the ball determines where the ball will go). But I am aware that Ball 3D needs better features for new players to help them learn the game. I plan to add many in the future (better tutorial, mini game, new bots and more).
