The second has my favorite main mission in the game, storming the interior of the Sanada-maru. The 10 Sanada Braves, a micro-maze, tons and tons of enemies to fight, and the introduction to my favorite boss in the game. Side missions are pretty alright as well, but nothing compared to:
The third DLC is probably the best in terms of overall content. The longest, bar none, Main Mission in the game with 4 boss fights, several arenas, and the final set of amazing new equipment sets. This is the DLC that also brought the Abyss to 999 floors, which on it's own is great. The Tournament of 100, the Duel with Jin, Fare for the Afterlife... all the best, insane side missions are here.
On a ranking scale, based on Main Missions only....
Base Game: 8/10 (some missions drag, some suck, many are great!)
DLC 1: 6/10 (only 2 Main Missions + 1 Duel Main Mission, story is alright)
DLC 2: 9/10 (Siege of Osaka mission can suck donkey anatomy)
DLC 3: 9/10 (1st and 3rd Main Missions incredible, 2nd alright)
Get them all in one package on PC so because this game is cheap af right now (especially outside steam).
DLCs best aspect are bosses in my opinion - they are damn fun to fight - especially dragon-wanna-be-bird, worm guy, ninja gaiden or human bosses/sub-bosses.
Defiant Honor: 7/10
Bloodshed's End: 8/10
Maria is the same garbage as she was in Bloodborne. Weapon buff that has the same propreties as LW, but she regenerates Ki during it. She has a incredible amount of poise for someone dressed as lightly as her, high damage, very few openings, and a very questionable grab attack. But on higher difficulties she becomes a total pushover because her stupid AI insists on being permabuffed and you can headshot her into Spear Charge/Iai over and over.
Defiant Honor: 10/10
Bloodshed's End: 9/10 (damn everlasting duty mission)
