I been farming Hanzo abyss floor 4 like a madman all day trying to get Inadome Style Rifle.

It's pretty damn lame that they put so many drops on hanzo. Would have been much better if any abyss boss could drop those texts IMO.

Any boss can drop them afaik, Hanzo is just conveniently next to a cliff and you can get a layout to spawn on the upper part making this a 10 seconds run.

it seems like he can drop anything I've gotten smithing texts from just about all kinds of bosses from Warrior of the West to the Child of the Sun to the Yatagaryu Armor and even Hayabusa Shinobi armor lol

(I ended up with 70 smithing texts last night before I called it quits. Gonna try farming him more today)

I would say glory but that's irrelevant he's respawnable just kill him and teleport back to shrine and kill him again.

he's not on the boss floor aye he's in the level where the torpor debuff is (the red boat)


You'll be sent to the Iga Escape level and will get one of 4(?there might be more variations).

If you spawn i nthe giant toad boss room. Just leave

If you spawn close to the well in the courtyard you will either find Hanzo or 2 ninjas in the area where I took the screenshot.
If you get 2 regular ninjas, leave that means he won't spawn. If you get Hanzo congratz you got the longer route to him (since you usually have to kill the wheelmonk patrolling as well)

Ideally you want to get the level variation where the shrine you spawn in is above him up the pagoda(?) since you just drop around the cliff and onto him before you teleport yourself back to teh shrine (I recommend getting the Earthfolding skill in the Onmyo tree but the Travel Amulets also work just that they are in limited numbers you can carry...)
