[SPOILER] Rugga and king
It is shown that King Meinolf got poisoned by Rugga during the negotiations. near the end of BS2
How do I cure the king?? He always dies whatever I chose

You can't. Confront Rugga after his loyalists try to kill you and he'll reveal that the cure for the poison never existed - it attacks the mind of its victim, and since the menders are prohibited of touching the mind and thus don't know how to weave it...

King dies regardless.

Its just up to you to decide when Rugga dies.

I think before you get to the king. He summons you and Rugga.

Then there's the chance to kill him after he tries something funny.

Once he's in jail or even several times there. And at the end of the game when Arberrang is mostly overrun and only the throneroom is protected.
