>Ludin
Because he was last seen with Vognir and Vognir got attack in the back.
>Dredge
Because they are everywhere!
Some absurd theories
>Yrsa
Shot him in the back and Ludin Finish the job.
>Juno
She know Hakon would get more men and Supplies from Strand if Vognir dies. and eventually investigate the dredge in Ridgehorn.
She can influence easily Hakon's mind as seen in "Ridge-heim" ordeal in Chapter 3.
>Accident
He just got drunk and tripped.
>Suicide
Because of how Banner Saga 1 Choices affects Banner Saga 3 by a lot.
The devs said that? Rly? That is so anticlimatic...
Why? Why should there be some sort of conspiracy for it? Heck, Fasolt, I think...can die in the first game because he wants to keep the taxes. Trygv dies because he's drunk and charges in.
People die for all sort of reasons in the three games. Why is it so inconceivable that Vognir dies to a dredge?
It is not, but why raise this question in the first place? If the varl didnt said anything about him being stabbed in the back, it would not be a problem.
But look at the situation: You hint the players that there is more than meets the eye and you dont touch on the subject again? That is a high level of BS right there.
Conspiracies, just like in real life!
But the reality is that... sometimes... dredge happens!
I'd rather go for a complete refund for BS3.
Because you cannot handle anonymity?
It's a great thing. You should try it.
This . offends me.
I played it for the promise of an epic conclusion to an epic saga, and said conclusion never happened, not in a proper way. What happened, was, 'We lived, they died, we rebuild, here's five lines of a poem we wrote during BS1 that we broke down into chapter names'. And that's if we didn't get an oxcart of bullcrap with the spirit world ending as well as the Aberrang didn't make it ending.
This is a promise broken, false advertising at least.
And it was consciously hidden at the end of the game, where the whole drop of quality actually happened, where a gamer couldn't discover it without, well, going through the motions of completing the story.
After completion I was more traumatized than satisfied, and not because of the downer ending -- Soul Reaver Defiance had one of those too, as did Arkham Knight - but I wasn't bothered then.
I am now, because of the failed ending that has purposely accumulated tension in the player and then failed to resolve it.
If you are a guy, ask your doctor -- that stuff isn't healthy.
So yeah, I consider the whole BS3 a promise unkept, therefore yes, I would absolutely request a refund for the ruined experience and several wasted days of my life (one spent on the actual game, two spent underperforming because of the trauma of the finale that never happened).
Loved your text. Specially for the soul reaver part. That game is epic! So sad that we dont have a new Raziel game. =/
