Battle system is improved through a reinforcement mechanic allowing you to swap characters around pre-wave.
Story wise the game wraps up nicely all the different choices you've made throughout 1 and 2, though some folks are displeased with the ending.
I liked it, gonna let it simmer for a while before I return and play again with Alette this time.
That's... That's not how it works. You have to actually give numbers to make that arguement.

Yeah even these are not complete, The Banner Saga 3 has the most Animation and Slides
TBS2 has the better variety of caravan/leadership choises and setpiece battles. But unfortunatly TBS2 introduced more RNG effects and threw the hero balance out of the window in favor of moments where a few hardened heroes can take on an entire army like badasses.
TBS3 is somewhere inbetwen the previous games on both ends. Fights are nolonger balanced on a knifes edge and the outcome of events/story depends more on the decisions you made in the previous games.
Its good, deffinetly on level with the previous games.
1 you should cripple all units before u start killing them. a 1/1 unit is a wasted turn for enemy
2 take less units for to the fight - best choice (for me) : 1 archer.
The 3rd game wanted to changed this fighting style with waves mechanic and forced ally fights but most fights are still won with 1 or 2 units (even on hard mode)
BS2 - 8/10
BS3 - 3/10
Dramatic drop in quality and story sucks.
