Anyone else prefer Aya, Monika, and Maria's old portraits from pre-2.02 and pre-remake?

I'm just curious if I'm the only one with this opinion. I like 11 year-old Aya's portrait way more and think it looks much better than the one used in 2.02/the remake, it's the only new portrait for her that I don't like. Her face and head look so weird to me.

Same thing for Monika, with my main issue being her head and face looking strange, mainly her eyes looking so far apart. I mostly prefer her original portrait's look over the remake with the exception of preferring her new dress. I was bothered by how the top of her original blue dress looked more like a bra with how much it showed in 2.02, but her portrait in the remake fixed that problem of mine entirely, and I wish her slight redesign it was reflected in all of the remake's event illustrations. Face and head issue persists, though. (Absolutely love the new color for her dress, it looks so good.)

Am also very glad that the moment with Monika in the test tube hallway place (words escape me rn) has a new illustration in this version. The 2.02 one was so weird. Seriously, head to the Mad Father wiki and compare that to the original one. It looked like a massive downgrade. Now just me thinking that, right?

And on Maria's new portrait, I really have only one problem. Her eyes. They look so vibrant and doll-like in the original and suit her perfectly, but they're so toned-down in her new portraits. I'm not a fan of it.

Just a random opinion I have that I wanted to ask about, ft. me word vomiting a bit. I love all of the other new portraits. it's just those three specifically that I'm not that fond of. So, anyone else have a similar opinion? :3
