How scary is this game

I just bought this game so I want to ask how scary is this game? Its just before I play/record, I want to know what I'm getting myself into

As i am concernded it 's not scary.

(IMO) It is not scary, if you are familiar with other popular RPG Horror games, Mad Father is about equal in "scariness" with them. I would consider the scariest parts to be the few jumpscares in the game. Although, I could easily understand someone considering the psychological elements and story itself to be more scary. Also, it kind of depends on what you mean when you say 'scary'

It's more scary if you allow yourself to be wrapped up in it and let your imagination go wild. It's not scary really, it's more creepy and keeps you on edge as you play, but it's not wall to wall terrifying like Dead Space or FEAR.
