Mad Father Safe

When going into the remake of Mad Father I get to the safe, and it's different! But it should be just the regular code 7482 but it's not plus it's really confusing the 2nd one is it minus or plus?

The second digit is the number of hats in the changing room minus the number of plants in the bathroom.

Sorry to res this somewhat old discussion, but where are the two extra red dolls? I only count 6, three on each side, and I feel like I'm losing my mind.
