• Final Stand Perk save data now shares/uploads to Steam Cloud saves. Players should now be able to change computers and have their Final Stand data transfer with them

• For base Company of Heroes 3 owners, mods applied in other game modes will no longer affect the Final Stand game

• Removed a hole in the soft map edge on Qattara Depression - this was causing enemy units to "enter" the playable area and become trapped in an out-of-bounds region

• Fixed several crashes around A.I. behavior and missing null pointers

• Heavy Machine Guns controlled by the A.I. in Final Stand will now prioritize infantry over the lane emplacements

• Fixed an issue with the A.I. idling Kettenkrads on the map

• A.I. armored vehicles will no longer fallback or issue move commands when attacked by non-vehicles on first contact

• Fixed the Demolish Charge and M6 Anti-Tank mines not being unlocked for the US Forces Rifleman, Engineer, and Bazooka squads after upgrading Demolitions Package from the Infantry Support Centre

• Fixed a tinting issue causing US Paratrooper HMG team helmets to appear as a default grey/white texture

• Enemy bosses may get stuck in the out-of-bounds area of a Battleground. This is more common with long-range artillery bosses such as the Wespe. This will require additional work to adjust A.I. logic and will need more rigorous testing from our team before implementing a fix. While we work to address this, as a workaround we recommend withdrawing your units closer to your HQ to force the enemy to move in-bounds to reach its maximum weapon range.

Today's hot fix introduces a new lobby system for Co-Op mode in Final Stand so that players can easily find matches with others and customize their experience.

  • When selecting "Co-Op" in Final Stand, players will now be presented with a Browse Games lobby list

  • Players will be able to search for an open lobby and view selected maps and difficulty levels

  • Players will also be able to create their own game with their preferred options from this menu

  • Players can set lobbies to private or public

• Added several translations for in-game strings/text that were only displaying in English

We want to thank all our players for jumping into Final Stand on day one! We're excited to finally be able to share this experience with all of you. We greatly appreciate all your feedback today on the co-op experience in Final Stand.  

We've heard the requests from players to introduce a matchmaking system to Final Stand. With all the difficulty levels, faction options (for both players and enemy A.I.), and Battleground picks – this would create a subpar matchmaking experience and lead to incredibly long queue times. We felt to retain the best possible player experience, we would pursue a traditional lobby system. 
 
In the next few days, we plan to add the ability for players to browse a list of public Final Stand lobbies or create your own (private/public) game lobby to be able to play Final Stand with any other player. This approach provides players with more control over their co-op experience by being able to review selected maps and difficulty and being able to chat in the lobby with your co-op partner before jumping into the match.

Q: Will you be adding co-op matchmaking to Final Stand?

Q: How do I unlock the exclusive Final Stand cosmetics for each faction? 

A: In Final Stand, each faction can earn a full cosmetic set for its base roster of units. To unlock a specific set, you must earn 3,000 perk points for that particular faction. 

Q: Can I earn the Boss unit cosmetics? 

A: Boss units are not a part of the Final Stand cosmetics obtainable by players. 

Q: Can I use the Final Stand cosmetics in the base version of Company of Heroes 3? 

A: Yes! These cosmetic sets can be equipped in Company of Heroes 3 in any game mode that allows you to normally equip cosmetics such as multiplayer PvP, co-op, skirmish or custom games. 

Q: If I already own cosmetics from the base version of Company of Heroes 3, can I use them in Final Stand?  

A: Yes! Any cosmetic items that apply to the base faction roster units can also be used for your armies in Final Stand. The only exceptions to this are cosmetics that apply to resource points, victory points, or HQ buildings.  

Q: If I earn Steam achievements in Final Stand and then purchase the base version of Company of Heroes 3, will those achievements carry over? 

A: Yes. Certain achievements will carry over once unlocked; however, you may need to invest some playtime before they are granted.
