That and the death scenes that don't allow you to even hit escape to just load are annoying.
So game could have a value in the game engine which keep track if you already did the prologue once if you did it once then it should be skippable.
press quick-load (F9) during the death scene, problem solved.
And for those wanting to rely on restoration chambers instead of save/load?
didn't say it's the perfect solution... but it's a solution for those who don't want to watch the video AND load a savegame anyway.
I think the perfect solution here is to display the continue/load/exit options from the start, while the death cutscene plays behind it.
that or a "skip" button :)

There is a skip option for the death scene but I don't remember the key combination. Use the search option. It has been mentioned in the forums before.
